Action from the Lancashire Junior Cup Second Round match played at Victory Park on the 8th February 1964.

Chorley were expected to win this match comfortably and they did 6-1, but it took until the 37th minute for the Magpies to register their first goal with Dalton the scorer.

Three minutes later the visitors were on level terms when Fay scored, but goals from Birchall (44) and Dalton with his second (45) ensured that Chorley went in at the interval with a two goal lead.

Two minutes into the second half and Hobson got the fourth Chorley goal, after 67 minutes Rowley added the fifth before Fay got his second after 83 minutes.

Shaw completed the scoring with Chorley's sixth goal of the afternoon with 5 minutes remaining
